Institute of Management Studies And Research is fast emerging as a nationally reckoned fully-integrated management institute of higher learning since its inception about twenty years back. Fulfilling this objective, we conduct a wide range of diversified activities including research, teaching, training, consulting and intellectual infrastructure development. Institute of Management Studies And Research is on a high growth trajectory today. Starting with an intake of 60 students in 1988 in its flagship programme Master in Business Management (MBA), the intake has been increased To 180 in 2014.This makes Institute of Management Studies And Research probably the fastest growing management institute in the REGION. This was done without making any compromise with objective and quality of output. In these twenty years, the institute has maintained its placement record by consistently being among the top institute in Central India.

      The Institute pioneered and today offers the richest programs on Interactive Learning platform. It conducts Faculty Development Programs and also the research-based Conference in the Institution. The Institute had commenced its doctoral program in the year 2011 The Management Development Programs, which crossed-days mark this year, is going to leapfrog from the year 2011 when its infrastructure goes up from present to ultra modern facilities. Besides the above, the Institute has incubated Center of Excellence for developing skills and personality development of qualified SC/ST candidates. The Institute is also a Center of Development of Libraries. Socially responsible & Community Development.

      The institute strikes strong linkages not only with industry but also with management institutes in Central India to further the cause of management education in India. Research serves as a link between theory and practice. We, therefore, encourage and facilitate all kind of research in management. To provide a good interaction of the researchers and also of the institutes, we have been regularly organizing research conference. We wish to keep this flow up and build up the management education at Institute of Management Studies And Research in a way that is relevant, contextual and motivating to managers from all sectors-corporate and non-corporate.
